Blue Dream Shrimp-Whether you buy imported or USA-bred blues, they both have amazing coloration. Our imported fantasy blues are usually larger. Our USA Bred fantasy blue shrimp average in size around half of an inch or smaller. For Best Coloration of Blue Dreams

Blue dreams show the best color while being kept on a black substrate. Why this occurs is because shrimp in general try to blend into their environment. Therefore, blue shrimp will darken in an attempt to have natural camouflage. On white substrate, they will try to bleach their color and be more transparent. It is ideal to keep blue dreams on a darker substrate due to fact.

The care for blue dreams is typical of most Neocaridina species. They do not require special attention and tend to be accepting of a multitude of water parameters. Although, we suggest keeping parameters close to what we keep them in:
